What will show up in your future dating isn’t worth waiting for simply because you miss now when your focus is on the future. Every time you want something you’re saying, “I’m going to put off my happiness until I get my ‘want’.” On the other hand, the future will show up exactly when it’s meant to, not a moment too late or too soon.

What we're seeking in mature dating is happiness. Unfortunately, most of us think other people or outside events will bring us that happiness. If our date or partner does what we want we can be happy. If they don't, we're unhappy. That makes us constant victims.
The articles here are written to help you see that the joy in dating doesn't actually come from someone else or a specific outcome. Mature dating becomes living in harmony with the way things are rather than enduring the constant pressure of seeking, and the disappointment when things don't go your way. This way of seeing stops us from creating painful stories and brings ease and fun, and the end to heartaches and disappointment.
